DROPS Cotton Merino is a blend of exclusive merino wool and beautiful and long Indian cotton fibers. The yarn is very pleasant to knit and gives comfortable clothes with clean and regular stitches.
DROPS Cotton Merino is a superwash treated il and is very soft on the skin, its soft fiber does not cause irritation, so it is perfect for children's clothing and layette.
DROPS Cotton Merino is sprained with multiple fine threads, which gives it roundness and makes it particularly suitable for twists, structured stitches and rice stitches.
DROPS Cotton Merino is a yarn from which we have chosen not to card merino wool and cotton together. The coloring mode is thus even more demanding but emphasizes even better each of the properties of the fibers to achieve even more vivid textures and colors at the same time. The merino fibers used have a diameter of 19.5 microns, i.e. they are very thin and classified as "fine". The thickness of the wool fibers used for knitting yarns varies between 17 and 28 microns, and any fiber below 23 microns is considered "non-irritating".
