DROPS Snow is a beautiful, soft, roundly spun yarn of 100% new wool.
DROPS Snow and its wool fibers are untreated, which means that the wool has only been washed and not exposed to any chemical treatment before dyeing. This reinforces the most beautiful qualities of the wool, and at the same time obtains a better shape and quality of texture.
DROPS Snow is available in mixed colors, but also printed, tweed or faded. For mix colours, the wool is made by carding the colors together before spinning it. For printed colors, color ratios repeat regularly at random and different lengths. For tweed colours, the tweed effect is spun with the yarn and gives the yarn that special color effect as well as a particular texture with variation in the thickness of the yarn. Gradient colors are characterized by regular lengths from one color to another. When changing colors, special care must be taken that the new ball starts with the same color as the end of the last ball used to obtain a beautiful result with smooth changes.
